UNO recognizes that taking either the SAT or ACT at this time may be challenging. UNO may admit freshmen with a minimum 2.5+ GPA or greater on the Louisiana Core 4. For the Fall, Summer, and Spring terms, applicants with a 2.5+ core GPA who do not meet test score requirements, or do not submit test scores will be admitted based on core GPA alone. All domestic undergraduate application fees are currently waived for Summer and Fall 2026 terms.
Starting Spring 2027, the undergraduate application fee for domestic applicants will be $25.00 and $30.00 for international applicants. After completing your application, you will see instructions to pay the fee with a credit or debit card via a secure payment portal. An application processing fee is charged for each application submission. The application fee is non-refundable once the application has been submitted.

LSU New Orleans
