UNO recognizes that taking either the SAT or ACT at this time may be challenging. UNO will admit in-state freshmen who apply with a minimum 2.5+ GPA or greater on the Louisiana Core 4 and complete all 19 core units. Applicants with a 2.5+ core GPA who do not meet test score requirements or do not submit test scores will be admitted based on core GPA alone, but will need to take an Accuplacer exam for English and Math placement.
