Greetings! I'm Tyelise Walton. I hail from the sunshine state, specifically Sanford, Florida. UNO's Film Production program brought me to the Big Easy, but the beautiful scenery, rich culture, and amazing people are what's keeping me here. UNO equips students with the necessary resources to strengthen their personal and professional development. Those resources helped me transition from being a Graduate Student Worker to an Admission Counselor. I'm beyond grateful to attend this university and ecourage students to experience it for themselves!

About Kendall

Hello, I'm Kendall! I'm from a small town in North Mississippi called Batesville. In 2017, I moved to New Orleans for grad school and really didn't want to leave! Even though we all know there are hard things about living in Nola, I loved the culture, diversity, and creativity of the city and the people here. So, when I started looking for jobs in the city, I realized that UNO embodied a lot of things I like about Nola. I also love working with college students because it is such a pivotal time in someone's life.

Hi, I'm Jade! I was born in Marietta, GA, but I grew up in Louisiana on the Westbank. What attracted me to UNO is it being an attraction in and of itself. It's a beautiful campus that allows the sun to kiss you and it sits right on the Lakefront; a vital pillar in New Orleanian culture! I was attracted to UNO because it was home. UNO allowed me to complete my degree while cultivating a higher purpose in my personal education that continues to unfold and bloom in the workspaces, I bring my knowledge to.
