* Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of New Orleans will admit in-state first time freshman, who apply on or after April 1st, 2020, based solely on the Louisiana Core 4 GPA. For the Summer and Fall 2020 terms, applicants with a 2.5+ core GPA who do not meet test score requirements, or do not submit test scores will be admitted based on core GPA alone. American College Test (ACT)
If you are a freshman or transfer applicant who has completed less than 24 semester hours of college coursework, you must take the ACT (American College Test) and have your scores sent to UNO (college code 1591). National ACT tests are administered in October, December, February, April, and June each year at regular ACT testing centers.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT I)
The SAT I (Scholastic Aptitude Test, UNO college code 6379) may be used in place of the ACT. Test dates are in October, November, December, January, April, May, and June.
