Undergraduate Checklist for International Students

1. Online application

Complete an online application.

2. Submit transcripts

First-time freshmen must submit transcripts from all secondary schools attended and have an official translation submitted if not in English. Transfer students must submit university transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended and submit a course by course evaluation for each from a NACES certified member. If transferring with less than 24 credits completed, applicant must meet First-time freshmen requirements.

3. Submit test results

First-time freshmen must submit official SAT/ACT results. If SAT/ACT Reading scores do not meet minimum requirement, TOEFL/IELTS is required. The university code for ETS reports is 6379. Applicants that do not meet our English proficiency requirements can be admitted conditionally pending successful completion of our Intensive English Language Program (IELP). Transfer students from institutions outside the US must submit TOEFL/IELTS results. The university code for ETS reports is 6379. Transfer students from a US institution must have completed the equivalency of our English composition course as well as the college mathematics course. If not, English proficiency exams (ACT/SAT/TOEFL/IELTS) and a math placement exam are required.

4. Submit financial support documents

Conditional admission pending financial support documents may be offered but the I-20 will not be processed until the financial documents are received. To review the financial support form, click here. 

5. Submit a copy of your passport

Students transferring from another US institution must also submit a copy of the current I-20 and I-94.

6. Immunization Form

Submit either the compliance form or the online waiver to Student Health Services: (504) 280-6387.

Scholarship Consideration

To be considered for scholarships (Fall), applicants must submit official transcripts and official test results. Applicants must be admitted by January 15th.
