- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
- A headshot and resume
- Auditions are mandatory; please email the Graduate Coordinator for Theatre to make arrangements
The deadline for Theatre is March 1st; please see the Graduate School degree programs page. We typically hold on-campus auditions on the first Saturday in March. However, we prefer on-line accessible materials (your personal website, YouTube, Vimeo, or any easily accessible link). Begin with a slate, then 1 Shakespeare, 1 contemporary and a 3rd piece of your choice, which could be a song. The length should be 1 1/2 to 3-minutes each, or 16 bars of music. For in-person auditions, either bring your own soundtrack or sing a cappella.
Applicants are responsible for contacting the Graduate Coordinator for Theatre to schedule an on-campus audition or to make alternate arrangements. On-campus auditions include an interview, tour of facilities, and private discussions with current MFA students.
