Below is a break down of costs for the IELP. Payment plans are available ($20 fee applies). The estimated cost of 1 full session, including tuition and housing, is $6300 USD. F-1 students are required to study full time and to have health insurance. Local students have the option of studying full time or part time.

The U.S. government requires a SEVIS fee for all F-1 student visa applications. This is a one-time payment. To make the process easy, IELP can collect and submit your SEVIS fee to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Your SEVIS fee receipt will be mailed to you with your I-20. You can choose to pay this fee yourself at the Student and Exchange Visitor Program.
Students who cannot attend their session and need to defer must pay a $75 reprocessing fee. This fee covers the shipping charge to mail a new I-20 with the correct session dates. Students who live in remote areas may be charged an additional $25 remote-shipping charge to cover additional shipping costs.
F-1 students must purchase health insurance at registration or show proof of adequate health insurance coverage (policies must be in English).
Payments can be made with check, traveler's check, money order, wire transfer, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express). Cash payments are not accepted. Payments can also be made by online bank transfer with Flywire.
All payments made with a credit or debit card will incur a non-refundable convenience fee of approximately 3%.
While students are required to show proof of $6300 USD in a bank account, actual costs may be more or less. UNO reserves the right to alter program costs when necessary.
