- Keep Teaching During An Emergency
With hurricane season upon us, the CTI is reminding you to be prepared. Familiarize yourself with our Keep Teaching website. There you will find useful information for teaching continuity during any emergency campus closure. As always, your syllabus should be uploaded to your Moodle shell during the week before classes start (as per the Faculty Workload policy). - Old Courses to Be Removed From Moodle
Courses in Moodle from the years 2017 and 2018 will be archived and removed from Moodle as of June 30, 2022. As always, we suggest you backup your own Moodle courses. As a reminder, Moodle is not the same as Cloud storage. Best practices are for you to keep a copy of your syllabi, handouts, lectures and assessment content, your gradebook files, and (if you use it) your attendance module. You can use these tutorials to learn to export your gradebook and export your attendance module. - Zoom Cloud Recordings May Be Deleted
Our Zoom storage is limited, which means older recordings may be deleted to make room for newer ones. This is an automated process. As a reminder, we highly encourage you to use Panopto for all of your video lectures, including ones recorded on Zoom. Zoom Cloud recordings are automatically transferred with Panopto without you having to press even an extra button. Our Panopto storage does not have the same deletion issue, which means your recordings will be safe. If you need help with Panopto, please see our Panopto resources. - Respondus Training
Get Respondus training straight from the source. Respondus is offering direct, online training this for you this June. Sign up for a short workshop on June 7, June 16, or June 22.
