Limited Submission Intent & Approval
Sponsors sometimes issue requests for proposals (RFPs) that limit the number of submissions they will accept from a given institution. Any submissions that exceed the defined limit can result in the rejection of every submitted proposal.
If you wish to respond to a limited submission RFP, you must notify the Office of Research either by contacting the pre-award administrator for your unit or by filling out our interactive form.
Once the Office of Research receives this notification, we will reach out to other faculty and staff members with similar research interests and inform them of the limited submission RFP. We will provide a deadline by which other potential applicants must inform us of their intent to submit.
If more principal investigators express interest than the proposal allows, the Executive Director for Research & Economic Development will select which applicant(s) may submit.
