The magazine’s cover story features alumnus Albert Allenback, a multi-instrumentalist and member of one of the nation’s coolest bands: Tank and the Bangas. Read how Allenback’s entrance into the Grammy-nominated act began while he was a student at UNO.

Learn how alumnus Brian Mitchell’s passion for the past led him to become a scholar-researcher and historian, a journey that began with his sharing his family’s oral history in New Orleans. That passion has taken him to a post as director of research at the presidential library of the 16th president of the United States.
