Excursions

In the afternoons, students engage in cultural immersion activities such as learning how to weave Maya textiles, visiting local farms to learn about the lives of Maya farmers, and also learning about the Maya calendar and religion from Kaqchikel spiritual guides.

Other cultural immersion activities include time spent with locals including midwives and community leaders.
