Cree Pettaway is an Instructor of English and graduated from Louisiana State University with a Master of Fine Arts (concentration in fiction). Cree is a Best Microfiction Nominee and a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee. Her work centers around Southern Black culture and equal justice initiative politics. Cree has publications in We Are Antifa: Expressions Against Fascism, Racism and Police Violence in the United States and Beyond, Black Feminist Collective, Blavity, and elsewhere.
