ELCE Certified Experiential Learning Departments & Programs
The Office of Experiential Learning and Community Engagement (ELCE) offers certification to departments and degree programs that require a significant amount of credit hours in experiential learning courses.
Certified Undergraduate Degree Programs
An ELCE Certified Experiential Learning Program requires 20 or more credit hours of experiential learning.
If at least 70% of the undergraduate degree programs offered by a department require 20 or more credit hours of experiential learning, then the department earns the title of Certified Experiential Learning Department.
