Math Tutoring Center

The math department is pleased to announce the return of in-person tutoring in Spring 2022! In-person tutoring occurs in Room 105 in the Math building, with masks and appropriate social distancing. The department also continues to host Zoom-based tutoring for students.

The weekly schedule for all tutoring (both in-person and Zoom), and information about how to connect to online tutoring, can be found at the interactive schedule for Spring 2022. Tutoring is free and does not require an advance appointment. We welcome any questions arising from 1000- and 2000-level Math courses, and can attempt to answer questions from more advanced classes as well!

The Math Tutor Center offers both individualized and group programs to assist students in learning mathematics and in successfully completing their mathematics requirements at UNO.

Want to be a MTC Tutor?

ADVISING

Academic advising is provided to all undergraduate students. Students should meet with their advisor on a regular basis and must consult with an advisor before registering for classes. Students with less than 30 credit hours meet with their assigned advisor in the First Year Advising Office in the Privateer Enrollment Center. Once students complete 30 or more credit hours, they will meet with their assigned advisor in the College of Sciences.

To determine your assigned advisor, view the list of Academic Advisors or check your UNO Webstar account. Appointments can be easily scheduled using the UNO Privateer Success portal.

If you feel you are having academic problems, please talk to your advisor or a faculty member.
