Hazing Transparency
The University of New Orleans is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where students can fully participate in campus life without fear, coercion, or harm. As part of our compliance with Louisiana law and our values as a Privateer community, we maintain high standards for student organizations and leadership.

Privateer Passage Badge Requirement
All students must earn the Hazing Prevention Certified badge in Privateer Passage each year to maintain eligibility for student organization involvement. This badge reflects completion of all required trainings and supports a culture of accountability and care.
Why it Matters Privateers don’t haze—we lift each other up. You now have the knowledge and tools to recognize hazing, take action, and support a campus culture where every student belongs.
