Division of Business and Economic Research
The Division of Business and Economic Research (DBER) provides research-related services to businesses, government agencies, media, non-profit organizations, and individuals in the New Orleans metropolitan area community.
Principally known for its economic analysis and forecasts, the DBER has also conducted research studies on several other important issues. These services include visitor profiles, economic impact studies, forecast of tourism indicators, customer satisfaction surveys, sporting events, and festival studies.
The DBER provides customized research services to organizations to facilitate strategic planning/problem-solving efforts. The DBER supports the Hospitality Research Center (HRC) in accomplishing its mission.
