Sara Herndon is an adjunct professor of sociology at University of New Orleans. Her career has focused on teaching dynamic student-centered courses specifically focused in the areas of inequalities, sexuality, pop culture, and criminology.
Before teaching at University of New Orleans, she taught at Concordia University Chicago(River Grove, IL), as well as Morton College(Cicero, IL) and Triton College(River Forest, IL). Her teaching experience has spanned across a wide range of student populations including both university students as well as community college students.
