University of New Orleans baseball student-athlete Bryce Calloway was named a second-team All-American by Baseball America on Friday, marking his fourth All-American recognition this season.
Calloway, who served as a two-way player for the Privateers in 2025, was also honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), and Perfect Game. His ABCA first-team selection is the first by a Privateer since Reeves Martin in 2019.
During the 2025 season, Calloway started every game and posted a .390 batting average and a 1.206 OPS. He recorded 30 extra-base hits, including 18 home runs, and totaled 63 runs batted in. He tallied at least one hit in 42 of 54 games played and had 10 games with three or more hits.
In addition to his work at first base, Calloway appeared as a relief pitcher and recorded 11 saves, the most in the Southland Conference. Three of those saves came during the Hammond bracket of the Southland Tournament. He was named a finalist for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award.
Calloway was also selected to the Southland Conference first team for the 2025 season.
