Louisiana Course Transfer Guide
Numerous course transfer equivalency agreements exist among Louisiana's public postsecondary institutions. Ensure that your courses transfer by reviewing this reference database.

2-Year Transfer Degree Guarantee
The Transfer Degree Guarantee helps students to easily transfer from a 2-year community college to a 4-year university in the state of Louisiana.

AALT/ASLT Advising Templates at UNO
Completion of the Associate of Arts/Science Louisiana transfer (AALT, ASLT) degree guarantees that the student has met, in full, all lower division general education requirements at the receiving Louisiana public university. Graduates transferring with the transfer degree will have junior status. Courses or GPA requirements for specific majors, departments, or schools are not automatically satisfied by an AALT/ASLT degree.

College Credit by Exam
UNO accepts college credit from AP, IB, CLEP, and DSST exams, as well as community colleges and universities in high school. Course credit at UNO varies by performance on the exam or in the community college/university course offering.

American Council on Education (ACE) Credits
Formal, education programs sponsored by non-collegiate associations (work, military, government, industry, volunteer may be awarded credit if recommended by American Council on Education. No more than 30 credit hours will be awarded from ACE.
