Set Up Your UNO Email Account
Be on the lookout for a "welcome to UNO email." It contains important information about how to set up your official university account. If you don't receive an email from us-or if you have questions about the process-please contact the Help Desk.

Learn About Webstar
Webstar is where you will register for classes, pay your tuition and fees, order your parking decal, and more! Overview provided here.
Once you have your UNO email account, you can use your email address and password to log on to Webstar.
For help with Webstar, watch this helpful video.
Find your UNO ID#
Now that you are a Webstar expert, you can put your new skills to use by locating your UNO ID#. From the Student Center landing page, click on the link 'view fee bill'.
When your fee bill loads, your UNO ID# will be located at the top of the page.
UNO has a general online orientation that you can access here: https://www.uno.edu/nse.
The online orientation is step 2.
The Grad School will also hold an orientation at the beginning of the term. Be on the lookout for an invitation via email.
International students on F-1 or J-1 visas must attend an orientation held by the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS).
Submit Your Immunization Records
All UNO students are required by Louisiana law to provide proof of immunization. Visit the Student Health Services website for more information and a list of FAQs.

Register for Classes
Contact your admitting department for details on how to get advised. Your Graduate Coordinator's (program advisor's) name can be found on the lower right hand corner of your Webstar student center landing page. In the event that the above doesn't work, email email@example.com.
Go to the Graduate School's registration page to learn more about signing up for classes and how to search the University Catalog. You'll also find a step-by-step guide to WebSTAR, the online portal you'll use to register each semester. Please note: Only 5000-level and above courses count toward your graduate degree. Also, nine hours is considered full time in fall and spring.
Get Your Privateer ID Card
While on campus, you can pick up your Privateer ID. This card allows you to access the UNO library and computer labs, attend athletic events at no cost and work out in the fitness center. You can also use your ID to set up a meal plan.
Pay for On-Campus Parking
You'll need a parking pass if you plan on driving to campus. You can pay online through WebSTAR or in person at the Office of the Bursar. After you've paid, you can go to the Campus Police Office to pick up your decal. Be sure to have your car registration, proof of insurance and receipt of payment with you. Learn more here.
