"Emily Waldrip"

President - Emily Waldrip
"Hi! My name is Emily Waldrip. I am a junior at UNO majoring in biology with a concentration in pre-pa. My goal is to study dermatology as a physician assistant and my dream is to become a dermatologic surgeon. I am excited to share all the amazing opportunities for this year and hope to provide members with all the tools they will need for their health professions!" - Emily

An Bui

Vice President - An Bui
“Hi. My name is An Bui. I am a biology major, a business administration minor, and a third-year student. In the AED club, I am the club's secretary. As the secretary, I love seeing members participating in this pre-health community. My favorite part about the club is the PALS program and the meetings with medical students and deans of admission. They show that everyone is different and that applications are unique for each individual. I hope to get to know everyone and that we will all be able to work together on many  projects in the future." - An

Shamira Byrant

Treasurer - Shamirah Byrant

"Hey guys, my name is Shamirah. One day I would like to become a dermatologist with a specialty in cosmetics and eventually open up my own clinics. I joined AED so that I could connect with other pre-meds and learn more about the journey/path to becoming a doctor." - Shamira

An Vu

Webmaster - An Vu

"Hi! My name is An Vu. I joined AED to be more involved with other pre-meds and people who share similar interests. Being able to share the process of going through college as a stem student and applying to medical school is great! I want to get more people involved in events and provide resources to help students succeed academically, professionally, and personally." - An

Hayat Jabber

Fundraising Chair - Hayat Jabber
"Hey guys! My name is Hayat Jabber. I joined AED to be closer to the healthcare community and was excited when the opportunity rose to be a part of the executive board. I'm happy I was given this role because I enjoy baking from time to time. I'm also excited to be more involved on campus!"- Hayat

Hayat Jabber

Fundraising Chair - Hayat Jabber
"Hi! My name is Tam Nguyen. As an incoming junior. I am majoring in biological sciences with a pre-med concentration. I joined AED to explore opportunities in the health filed as well as help others who are on the same journey with medicine. I would love to expand the club with new members and have interesting events that gravitate the community."- Tam
