Congratulations Thomas Scott, Assistant Manager of Accounts Payable for being selected for Employee of the Month October 2015!

Carol Lunn, Associate Director of Research & Sponsored Program and Elizabeth Sigler, Assistant to the Director for Research & Sponsored Programs say, "In this ever changing world of policies/procedures, Tommy has been instrumental in keeping the University in line with adhering to the most recent changes in Travel and Purchasing (PCard) policy for the State of Louisiana. This is a challenging duty to have, given the repercussions of audit findings, if policy is not followed. Tommy has excellent communication skills via website/email/workshops, and strives to make sure the university community is up to date with the most recent changes.

Tommy is professional in his working with the UNO community. It is not always easy dealing with the "disgruntled" employee who did not follow proper procedure, but Tommy handles it with aplomb and tries to find a way to make it work. He is prompt in returning email and phone calls, knowing how time sensitive travel plans can be."
