Albert Kennedy was selected as the April Employee of the Month. Mr. Kennedy is an Adjunct Instructor in the department of History.
Dr. Connie Atkinson,Director of the Midlo Center says, "Al Kennedy spends countless hours outside the classroom with students, particularly those students who are in difficulty. He accepts assignments from the department with enthusiasm, although they are beyond his job description. He works tirelessly with the library and he is responsible for UNO housing the priceless Orleans Parish school board records, 1840-present, the largest collection of a school board in the United States (and they would have been destroyed if left in their Almonaster home through Katrina) He cares, he's brilliant, and we need to find out a way to thank him."
