A team of University of New Orleans marketing students won first place at the 4th Annual AMA New Orleans Marketing Case Competition, held Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at the Schwartz Family Center in the Tulane A.B. Freeman School of Business.
The UNO team (students Naydelin Paredez, Abril Espino, Sabrina Xiao, and Kaitlyn Toussaint) competed against peers from Tulane University, Dillard University, and Louisiana State University.
The event was organized by AMA New Orleans in partnership with Adobe Creative Campus, AMA Tulane, Propeller, and the Tulane A.B. Freeman Business School. The competition provided undergraduate students with the opportunity to develop and present marketing plans for a local business to a panel of marketing professionals and business leaders.
Participating teams met with local business representatives to learn about the organization’s marketing needs, then had three weeks to create and refine their plans. Each team worked with a professional marketing coach before presenting their final recommendations during the Nov. 6 competition.
