Conflict of Interest

UNO researchers report conflicts of interest through the Proposal Routing Form and standalone investigator reports. If any conflict exists which generates a risk related to research or technology transfer, the Office of Research works with the faculty/staff member to eliminate the risk, if possible. If the risk cannot be eliminated, the Office of Research strives to minimize the risk of any actual or potential conflict of interest.

Please read AP-RE-08. A COI Investigator Report will be filled out for each investigator when submitting a Proposal Routing Form.

If any investigator needs to update their form after an award is made, to disclose either a real or apparent conflict of interest, please fill out a Standalone Conflict of Interest form or a Standalone Conflict of Interest (PHS) form.
