Office of Facility Services
The Office of Facility Services supports the mission of the University of New Orleans by maintaining and enhancing buildings, grounds and infrastructure in a cost-effective, safe and environmentally responsible manner. We provide and improve facilities and related services for our customers – the students, faculty, staff and visitors – in support of the UNO's teaching mission and Strategic Plan. Our values, philosophy and work ethic are the foundation of the diverse yet united workforce, which supplies our customers with quality service.
We are responsible for the operation and maintenance of over 40 buildings, which includes classrooms, offices, laboratories and a multi-purpose arena. Facility Services consists of several distinct departments:

- Vehicle Fleet and Motor Pool
Ancillary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Life Safety Codes and Environmental Safety.

Service Center and Maintenance Requests
To report any issues, Residential Students/Tenants are to follow reporting structures outlined in their housing handbooks.
General Service Requests should be requested through the Facility Services Work Order System. You can contact the Service Center for assistance in logging into the work order system. You can also contact them at 280-6675 or 280-4948. The Service Center hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. For services on weekends, after hours or holidays, please call one of the two numbers listed above, and someone from Central Plant will assist you.
Examples of general service requests submitted through the work order system are:
Plumbing, electrical, temperature adjustments, building leaks, wall repairs, painting, auto repairs, general grounds work, outside trash pickup, storm water drainage issue, fallen tree limbs, table and chair set ups, event support, office trash pickup, restroom needs, floor needs, general cleaning etc.
For Emergency Service Requests such as safety matters needing immediate attention, major water leaks, a smoke, gas or burning smell, elevator outage or power outage, please contact the Service Center by phone at 280-6675 or 280-4948. If you have any questions, please contact:
