Twenty years ago, Hurricane Katrina changed New Orleans and the University of New Orleans forever. In the face of extraordinary challenges, our students, faculty, staff, and neighbors came together to protect, rebuild, and move forward.
This year, we will mark the anniversary with a series of events that honors our University’s strength and recognize those who helped us recover, and reflect on how UNO and our city has evolved in the two decades since.
