ANTH 3090: Special Topics Cultural Anthropology (Dr. Roberto Barrios)

This is a hybrid course with two components: 

1. Five weeks of asynchronous online classes (students can watch the lectures and complete assignments on your own schedules so long as you meet weekly deadlines)
2. Three weeks of cultural immersion and language instruction in Guatemala (students receive 3 hours of language instruction each morning)

Spanish proficiency is not required to participate in the program (but willingness to learn will enrich your experience). Classes will be taught in English. 

All students are required to take 3 credit hours (1 course).
