International Night is attended by members of the greater New Orleans community, UNO students and faculty. About 700 people are expected to attend this year's event.

This festival of cultures offers food from local international restaurants, cultural displays representing more than two dozen countries, and a talent show featuring songs and dances from around the world.

The University of New Orleans currently hosts around 800 international students, faculty, and staff from more than 70 countries.

The Office of International Students and Scholars provides comprehensive immigration advising, programming, and support services to all international students and faculty and their dependents.

OISS works with faculty and administrators to build friendship agreements with foreign universities and works with international student organizations in planning activities such as International Night and cultural tea hours.
