UNO-St. Claude Gallery Hosts CINEMATROPE, an MFA Thesis Exhibition

The University of New Orleans St. Claude Gallery hosts this month CINEMATROPE, a Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibition by UNO fine arts graduate student Ryn Wilson.

CINEMATROPE explores themes related to the history of film and how it affects our identity as a culture as well as our memories as individuals," said Kathy Rodriguez, research specialist, fine arts instructor and director of the UNO-St. Claude Gallery.  "Wilson makes her investigation through the media of photography and video."

The shows opened on Saturday, March 9 and runs through April 6. The UNO-St. Claude Gallery will hold a closing reception for the artist on the final day of the exhibit and all are invited to attend, said Rodriguez.

The gallery is regularly open from 12-5 p.m., Fridays through Sundays, but will be closed March 29-31 in observation of Spring Break. The gallery is located at 2429 St. Claude Ave.
