The UNO Music Department's "Meet the Artist" workshop series allows students to learn from renowned musicians of styles ranging from Latin percussion to India raga. In these seminars guest musicians provide specialized instruction and professional advice.

Past guests have included master percussionist Sammy Figueroa, Indian classical musican Aashish Kahn, renowned saxophonist Rick Margitza and jazz pianist and former UNO jazz studies instructor Doug Bickel.
