UNO Marketing Faculty Research Honored at Two International Conferences

Two Department of Marketing and Logistics faculty at the University of New Orleans were recently honored for their research at two international conferences.

UNO Marketing Professor Milton Pressley received the best paper/presentation award by the Global Business and International Management Conference, held in July in Vancouver, British Columbia. The award was for Pressley’s research, “Managing Recalcitrant Student Behavior in the Classroom,” co-authored with Dinah Payne, a UNO management professor.

Kyeong Sam Min received an Honorable Mention award for the Best Conference Paper at the Global Marketing Conference held in July in Seoul, Korea. The honored paper was "Does Telic/Paratelic User Mode Matter on the Effectiveness of Interactive Internet Advertising? A Reversal Theory Perspective." Min co-authored the award-winning paper with Jae Min Jung and Chang Chu Hui, who are both marketing professors at the California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, and Drew Martin, who is a marketing professor at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
