Residential Life Student Staff
Resident Assistants at The University of New Orleans
A Resident Assistant (RA) is one of the first people you meet upon arrival on your floor. RAs are students just like you who work to create a better living and learning environment in your hall by providing programming, building community, and being available to you.
As a current student, your RA is a great resource for you, full of helpful tips and friendly advice. The RAs also monitor maintenance requests and hall security protocols. Each hall is also staffed with a Hall Director and an Assistant Hall Director who are professional staff members. They supervise the RAs, the building, and are also another resource for you.
