The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) provides guidance and support for the international community at UNO. Here is a sampling of information within the OISS site which offers a wealth of information and resources for students planning to study in New Orleans.
What to Bring
- Bed sheets (twin extra-long size)
- Electrical outlet converters/adapters (for both voltage and size conversion)
- Alarm clock
International students should bring enough of these basic necessities to last until they can get to a local retail store (toiletries are readily available at the Walgreen's Pharmacy adjacent to campus on Elysian Fields Avenue and Robert E. Lee Boulevard -- see map).
