ETS Proficiency Profile
The ETS Proficiency Profile measures college-level skills in critical thinking, reading, writing and mathematics.
The purpose of the test is to assist UNO in collecting data upon which decisions can be made for improvement of the general education curriculum. The test also serves the institution in complying with requirements to assess the general education curriculum. Findings will be evaluated for rising Juniors as a group, and will be used for program improvement purposes only.
Each fall and spring semester a randomly selected sample of all rising Juniors will be asked to participate in this online test. Students will be notified of their selection and testing details. No preparation is necessary and there is no student fee associated with the test.
