The programs in the Department of Educational Leadership, Counseling, and Foundations (ELCF) focus on the preparation of professionals who will address the needs of the community and educational institutions in Southeast Louisiana, especially the metropolitan New Orleans area. Our programs prepare advanced practitioners in the fields of educational leadership and counselor education. The B.S. in Human Performance and Health Promotion prepares students for professions that enhance individual and community wellness and promote health and physical activity.
