Daily Crime and Fire Logs

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires higher education institutions to maintain a daily crime and fire log.  The purpose of the Daily Crime and Fire Logs is to provide information to the UNO community, which might be relevant for their safety and security, about valid complaints and other significant incidents reported to the UNO Police Department.  The Fire Log contains information regarding reported fires which occurred on UNO's main campus as well as the Lakefront Arena east campus.

The Crime Log for the most recent 60-day period is open to public inspection, free of charge, upon request, during normal business hours.  Any portion of the log older than 60 days will be available within two business days of a request for public inspection.

The entries contained on the crime and fire logs are listed in descending order with the most recent incidents at the top.  The UNO Police Department handles numerous types of calls for service which require police reports but not all reports may be of a criminal nature.  The Crime Log contains information of criminal or alleged criminal incidents, therefore, the case numbers may not be in sequential order.
