The ACCUPLACER is an untimed, computerized test, which helps UNO Admissions Counselors determine your eligibility for admission to the university.


Accuplacer testing is on a walk-in basis an appointment is not needed. This test is exclusively conducted for getting into UNO.


Test taker should bring a valid, unexpired photo-ID (ex. Government issued Driver's license, State ID, or Passport).

Testing Time

UNO Testing Services proctors the Accuplacer test between 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m, Monday through Friday.


$25 per Test, we accept Visa, Master Card, American Express or money orders made out to UNO Testing services that you can pay the day of the test. We do not accept cash or checks.

Getting your Scores

You will receive your ACCUPLACER test results immediately upon completion of testing. Once you receive your test scores, please bring them to the Privateer Enrollment Center located on the first floor of the Earl K. Long Library.

Retest Policy

The Accuplacer test can be taken a total of three times within a 30 day period starting with the first Accuplacer test attempt. Accuplacer test takers can only take one Elementary Algebra and one Sentence Skills test per day.
