University of Graz

The University of Graz, founded in 1585, is Austria’s second oldest university and one of the largest institutions of higher education in Austria. With its many students, the University of Graz makes an essential contribution to the vibrant life of the Styrian capital. The students have a large variety of bachelor's, master's, graduate, and doctoral programs to choose from. The studies and scientific disciplines are assigned to six faculties: Catholic Theology; Law; Social and Economic Sciences; Humanities; Natural Sciences; Environmental and Regional Sciences and Education.

Graz, the second largest city in Austria, is located in the southeastern province of Styria, called the green heart of Austria because of its extensive forests. The city's geographical location provides an important gateway to neighbouring countries (1 hour to Maribor/Slovenia, 2 hours to Vienna, 4 hours to Venice).
