Pack your hiking shoes and explore Ireland’s verdant countryside on our weekend excursion to Western Ireland. We depart from Cork and head to Ross Castle, a 15th century tower house on the edge of Killarney National Park in County Kerry. From there we board boats and take a scenic ride before lunch at Lord Brandon’s. After lunch we will hike the famous Gap of Dunloe. Participants can opt to take a jaunting car (horse and buggy) instead. We’ll enjoy a traditional Irish dinner (you earned it!) at Kate Kearney’s Cottage. Past participants have enjoyed two nights in Dingle and Limerick with daytrips to Sleigh Head Peninsula and the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher before returning to Cork.
