Joseph (Larry) Dew

Larry Dew is a conservation biologist whose interests include tropical ecology, animal behavior, ecological restoration, and environmental education.  His own education took place at Duke University and The University of California.  He has studied lemurs in Madagascar, monkeys in Ecuador, and gorillas in Gabon.  He has been teaching at UNO since 2004, and he and his students have worked on numerous projects related to wetlands restoration and environmental sustainability in coastal Louisiana.​
