Elyria Kemp

Elyria Kemp, Ph.D. holds the Bank One Endowed Professorship in Minority and Emerging Business. Dr. Kemp received her Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas and joined the Marketing and Logistics faculty in 2012. Dr. Kemp conducts research in the areas of consumer welfare, emotions and consumer decision making, and hedonic consumption. Dr. Kemp’s research has appeared in a number of well-respected, peer-reviewed marketing journals and has also been presented at numerous conferences throughout the country. Dr. Kemp actively works with various minority communities, including students, study participants in her research as well as local business owners.
