Intersession at UNO

Under the auspices of Office of Academic Affairs, UNO will offer an Intersession between the 2013 Spring and Summer Sessions. The Intersession is available to continuing and new students.

Intersession Enrollment Information

To expedite enrollment for an Intersession class, students who are not enrolled in the Spring 2013 semester at UNO should apply for admission or re-admission to the University through http://www.uno.edu/admissions/apply/index.aspx.   New, re-entry and/or visiting students should have an official transcript sent from their home institution to the University of New Orleans Office of Admission, 2000 Lakefront Drive, 103 Administration Building, New Orleans, LA  70148.

The Office of Admissions personnel will be available during the enrollment dates to assist first time enrollees with the application process.

Intersession Registration May 8-15

Course registration for new, re-entry and continuing UNO students will be available via WebSTAR. Visiting students (attending intersession only) will register in person in the Office of the Registrar, (AD 112) May 8 – 15 without a late charge. May 16, the first day of class, is the last day to register. Visiting student registration will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during the enrollment dates. 

All financial arrangements must be completed with the Office of the Bursar by the close of business on the day of enrollment. No forms of student financial aid or extended payment plans are available for Intersession enrollments.

  • There is a limit of one three-hour class.
  • Fees are due in full at time of registration. Fees cannot be deferred.
  • Financial Aid is not available for the Intersession, including waivers, exemptions, scholarships, third party sponsors, etc.
  • Payments will only be accepted by using cash, checks, American Express, or MasterCard.
