Payment and Enrollment Related Issues

Centralized Enrollment Services

Representatives from the Bursar, Accounts Receivable, Student Financial Aid, Student I.D. Cards, University Police (parking decals) and the Registrar (graduation and registration issues only) operate out of a central location in the location TBA at the beginning of each semester to provide one-stop services for the student body. When not located in the Library, these offices operate out of their normal campus locations. Centralized Enrollment Services hours of operation follow:

Spring 2013
January 13-23, 2012

January 17, 2012
8:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Fee Payment Deadline

You can pay your fees by web, mail (see postmark deadlines in Important Dates Calendar), in person or through the phone bank (see page below for details.) In any case you must pay fees no later than the deadline noted for the specific semester or your schedule will be cancelled. All enrollment periods have one payment deadline except the Summer terms which have varying deadlines based on the actual date of registration. Students who do not complete their financial arrangements with the University by 4:30 p.m. on the dates noted below for the respective term/semester will be purged (removed from all their classes) from the registration system.

Phone Bank Available for Fee Payments

A limited number of telephone lines will be available beginning at 8:30 a.m. during Centralized Enrollment Services through the last day of late registration. The phone bank hours will remain open until 4:30 p.m. Please have student number, name of student, Visa or MasterCard credit card number, name, address and telephone number of card holder and card expiration date available when you place your call.

Office and Evening Hours

Campus offices are generally open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. They are also open Tuesday evenings until 6 p.m. during the week preceding the first week of class for the Fall and Spring semesters, the first two weeks in the Fall and Spring semesters and the first week of the regular summer term. This includes the College Offices who maintain the same hours as noted here along with those associated with Centralized Enrollment Services. Advising may not be available from NOON to 1:00 p.m. during Late Registration.

Speical Note

If you have received any anticipated financial aid credits on your Account Statement (Scholarships, Loans, Grants, or Tuition Exemptions) that satisfy the minimum fee payment, your schedule will NOT be canceled if you have completed and signed an EPPO Promissory Note with the Bursar's Office. If you decide not to attend UNO this semester, you must follow the withdrawal/resignation process. Failure to do so will result in an unofficial withdrawal status, grades of "F" at the end of the semester, and possible repayment of Title IV funds, if applicable.

QUICK FACT

You will be officially registered if: you have received any anticipated aid credits on your Account Statement (Scholarships, Loans, Grants, or Tuition Exemptions) that satisfy the minimum fee payment and you have completed and signed EPPO Promissory Note with the Bursar’s Office section of this Bulletin). If you decide not to attend UNO this semester, you must dropp all your courses. Failure to do so will result in grades of XF, XU, or F at the end of the semester. Financial aid recipients who receive all F's, XF’s and/or XU's may be required to repay any aid received for the term of enrollment.
