March 27 2017 FALL REGISTRATION begins for continuing students. Fee payment by web, mail, or in person at the Bursar's Office begins. WebSTAR is available 24/7 except for scheduled maintenance or on other designated dates.
October 2017
October 5 Extended Payment Plan Option (EPPO) final payment deadline (4:30 P.M.).
  Deadline to pay tuition and fees. Late Registration Fees will apply after this date. WebSTAR closes at 4:30 P.M.
October 6 Late registration begins with $150 late fee.
  Schedule adjustment period (without fee penalty)
October 8 Last date of schedule adjustment period (without fee penalty till 11:59 P.M.)
October 9 Session B classes begin.
  Schedule adjustment period starts (with $50 fee penalty per day)
October 10 Last date of schedule adjustment period (with $50 per day fee penalty)
  Final date to drop course(s) and receive 100% tuition reduction. After this date, there is no tuition reduction for drops.
  Census Day for Session B
October 12-13 Fall break
October 20 Final date to drop course(s) or resign and not have course(s) recorded on transcript.
October 20 - November 7 From October 20 through November 7 an automatic "W" will be recorded for all courses dropped.
October 24 50% tuition reduction. Final date to resign (withdraw from all courses) and receive 50% tuition reduction (less appropriate non-refundable fees).
  No tuition reductions made for partial reduction in course enrollment.
October 30 REGISTRATION for 2018 Spring Semester begins.
November 2017
November 5-6 Midterm examination period.
November 7 Final date to drop course(s) or resign from the University.
  Resignations (withdrawal from all courses) must be completed through WebSTAR on or before November 7.
November 22-24 Thanksgiving Holidays.
November 29 Last day of classes.
November 30 Reading day.
December 2017
December 1-2 Final examination period.
December 6 Final grades available on WebSTAR at Noon.
December 12 COMMENCEMENT (Lakefront Arena, 3:00 P.M. Further information can be found at registrar.uno.edu/commencement.)
December 25-January 1 University Closed.
