  • In First Year Transitions, students learn everything about the University and make a smooth cross-over from high school to college.
  • Freshmen can have cars on campus.
  • Approximately 11,000 students; 8,300 undergraduate and 2,700 graduate
  • About 10 percent of UNO students come from 49 other states and 97 other countries.
  • The University is home to five colleges: College of Business Administration, College of Education & Human Development, College of Engineering, College of Liberal Arts, College of Sciences, and Interdisciplinary Studies.
  • Average class size is 22 with a student-faculty ratio of 18:1.
