Dr. Will Stein, a retired medical oncologist/hematologist, received his Ph.D. in May 2013 in Engineering and Applied Science from University of New Orleans. He joined the Pontchartrain Institute for Environmental Studies as a post-doctoral research associate in June 2013. His research interests include estuarine fish and decapod communities, water movement in the Pontchartrain Estuary, Lionfish, Cobia, and Warsaw Grouper on the Louisiana coast. His primary research focus is on the life history of Tarpon in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
