Instructional Technology

The Office of Instructional Technology supports faculty and staff in the use of digital tools to design and deliver online, hybrid and classroom instruction. These tools include

  • Moodlerooms Joule
  • Turnitin
  • Adobe Connect
  • iTunes U
  • Second Life
  • Proctor U
  • iClicker

In addition, we will assist in integrating content from publisher course cartridges and websites, where possible.

See our Training page to arrange for one-on-one or small-group training in any of these instructional tools.

Standards and Evaluation

We assist departments and faculty in the use of the university's Standards and Evaluation Rubric to conduct peer and self-review of courses developed by the Faculty Senate Distance Learning Committee using the Quality Matters Rubric as a model.
