Associate Registrar for Academic Degree Auditing

DEPARTMENT: Registrar's Office                  

POSITION SUMMARY: The Associate Registrar for Academic Degree Auditing will report directly to the Registrar and will be responsible for building, managing and maintaining the Degree Audit System.  


This person will serve as a liaison between transfer students and the Registrar and between Enrollment Management and the academic colleges and schools.

Responsible for preparing yearly audits for graduating students, including maintaining degree audit module and working with Deans, Chairs and Graduate Directors.

Works with other Assistant Registrars in functions related to Commencement (reports, tagging, diploma lists).

Works with other Registrar Administrative staff on coordination of implementing approved academic programs and maintenance of student academic records to ensure consistency across academic areas.

Responsible for technical related issues, reporting, etc. for the Registrar's Office and coordinating such with all of the Registrar's staff to assist with their needs and requirements.


Bachelor's degree and professional experience working in a Registrar's Office. Strong computer background and experience. Demonstrated ability to read, understand and implement technical manuals. Experience dealing with system design. Demonstrated experience in graduation and/or auditing. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate technical issues to students and advisors in a non-technical manner.
