POSITION SUMMARY: Tenure track assistant professor for generalist position with focus on criminology and social justice.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach three courses per semester in the areas of Criminology, Juvenile Delinquency, Deviance, Law and Judicial Process, and courses related to Social Justice. In addition to effective teaching, the successful candidate is expected to publish independent scholarly research, perform service on graduate committees in the department's MA program, service to the university, the profession of sociology, and the larger community.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Ph.D. is required, although near Ph.D. may be hired at the instructor level pending completion of the doctorate

SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
